This week I introduced HB4546 The Female Athletics Integrity of Records Act (FAIR). Not only did I introduce this FAIR legislation I also had the opportunity to meet Riley Gaines who lost her title to a biological male. Title IX was meant to equalize and protect women, unfortunately the WOKE do not see it that way. Never in the History of the WORLD has the Top Biological Female ever beat the Top Biological Male, we are designed differently and even have different a chromosome make up. I am doing research: How would you define “clean energy”? Don’t Google it! I seriously would like to know what that means to you personally. Second question: What is responsible use of our natural resources? This is not a blast on anyone, this is thoughtful discourse.4 weeks ago Melody Wagner
Now there's a question I could have asked in my research. But noooooo, I've got to ask about age limits on Drag Shows and then my neighbor gets on there and not only promotes them but takes her 8 yr old to them and another takes there 6 yr old boy who now wants to use she & her pronouns. Big stuff up here in the 'Queen City'! Could you save me some time Jaime and advise if anything written up or already out there on 'Age limits for Drag Shows'? Here's the question I asked on my site. I will also give you an answer that I think about Clean Energy and follow the thread as very interested in answers. "Should Drag Queen Shows be 'Adult Only' or should they continue allowing children and have ratings like movies G, PG, PG-13, R,& NC-17?"3 weeks ago Emanuele Souta

I’m totally an amateur in this arena. I honestly haven’t invested hours of reading or research but from a simple every day common sense and Christian worldview, my main opinion is for businesses to do their best for the surrounding environment. To my best as a chef we got graded on total utilization. What does that mean? Now we seek critical thinking from anyone discussing this. Total utilization means when I peel and cut up onions, carrots and celery for dishes the ends, the stems and rinds and peels of anything is used. For the ends and stems of the vegetables we toss into a pot with the chicken bones from your roasted whole chicken and make stock that is used for soup. After that’s all been cooked the bits and what’s left after being cooked down is probably 50% smaller portion that what you started with. Now you can put that in a hole in the earth that will easily break down and degrade over time and even play a part in making the soil healthier. My grease from bacon and meats now that’s either re-utilized for greasing the grates on the grill or used to make lard for adding to other meals you cook or you run extremely hot scalding water to water it into the earth or water system that you dilute it to a point it’s able to be cleared by diluting it. I don’t think it’s bad to go with recycling of paper and products that get thrown into the trash that will break down naturally and degrade. It’s the things like say our old clothes and metals or businesses that have materials or practices that create I guess what people call a carbon footprint that well I’ll be honest I’m not thinking it’s healthy to hang out 2 feet behind a diesel tractor and suck on fumes for an hour so yeah let’s try to minimize just being lazy or wreck less and polluting the earth or air. However the world is profoundly created with an eco system that can shame any human mind to think it’s capable to wrestle a tornado to the earth and demand it obey man’s idea of peace and order. God knows our scientific and economic developments, He commands us to be good stewards and I believe what we don’t know or what we can’t completely control to perfectly combat what’s negatively impacted by our lives with living life is ultimately God’s domain to help use His eco system to deal with it or yes maybe allow consequences. We create, we build, we live our life to God’s glory and be wise, seek good stewardship but we can’t control it all or save the planet from either our own needs to thrive and survive and live. It’s foolish to live naked in a field with eating berries, leaves and bugs in order to be sure we aren’t eating an animal that’s got a life more sacred than humans or causing harm to the planet to build and have industry and western advanced city or suburban or urban lives. I agree with John Vermeulen and Mark Blazejewski the most, they make good points too. Thanks for offering this Jaime it’s a great way to engage with the people.4 weeks ago Jaime Greene MI State Representative 65th District 1

I am wondering if you see emails sent to you or is it only staff who reads them? When using Facebook posts how do you know if it is a person or a bot that responds? How can it be said that we have been on the wrong track for years when furnaces are 95 or more percent efficient? Gas mileage and life of vehicles is 3 times longer than 50 years ago? How is it clean or efficient to utilize eminent domain to take farm land to give it to foreign countries for factories built with Michigan tax money not expected to to even be built for 10 years while we fix the roads with borrowed money? Nuclear, natural gas, hydro, and I wish there were better incentives on residential geothermal. I do not support EV and industrial solar. Too much devastating mining and dangerous materials and battery components being manufactured, transported, installed in the vehicles, and eventually disposed of. Wind turbines are are dangerous, devastate quality of life for anyone near, and are deadly for bats and birds. It seems as if the “clean energy” movement is more of a shift from trying to conserve energy, to this world of massive energy production/consumption. Like one person stated, planting more trees is a tremendous boost to our air quality and temperature stability. Thank you for asking residents!4 weeks ago David Villeme 3
Clean from start to finish. Not just while in use. This includes mining, drilling, transportation, maintenance and production. Disposal if necessary. If it leaves a larger carbon footprint from the above. Then it’s not clean, just a scam Efficient is also a large consideration.4 weeks ago Mark Blazejewski 2
Clean energy would have zero negative effect on the earth I’d imagine. From the building of say a turbine, the effects on the land where it stands and how it’s removed when it’s beyond it’s usable life. Thoughtful use would be changing our farming methods. Sustainable farming with organic compost do that the minerals the plants need are there. Getting rid of pesticides and fertilizer or minimal use .
Planting more trees and creating more natural/native plant areas on golf courses, freeways (in grassy areas) and doing less mowing .
Maybe this is more protecting natural resources but I think it helps promote a healthier earth for us, plants, bees Oh and I’m curious if there was such a concern for climate change, wouldn’t they already be planting millions of trees to combat the CO2 and wouldn’t we stop using asphalt since it’s made from fuel and slowly leaches into ground water, lakes and streams? Meant that to be a productive question.3 weeks ago Emanuele Souta

Our staff is essentially defenseless and like the title says “sitting ducks”. Tate has decided it is too dangerous for House staff to have a gun and/or a “weapon” (he also refuses to define what that is). This is reprehensible!! In the City that is ranked the 17th most violent city in the COUNTRY staff is vulnerable, and powerless to an attacker. How rich coming from a 6’5” 300lb man—Try being 5’2” and, well, lighter. It is a CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to defend oneself. Please contact the office of Speaker and tell him to let the staff defend themselves!! This article is behind a paywall. Jaime Greene MI State Representative 65th District I'm unable to read the story, but I can guess. The Democrats have passed gun controls that have only made it harder for law abiding people to get a gun for protection. I find it odd that they might insist that lawmakers be unarmed as well, since they are venerable and you would think that they are more trust worthy. Stay safe Jaime. -

Jaime...I'm so glad that you are our voice in Lansing! As devastating as these shootings are...taking away our rights to bear arms is not the answer. So many are stating stricter gun laws....I truly believe that we need to think about WHO is pulling the trigger. The latest MSU tragedy ...the shooter obtained that gun illegally. And if our guns were all taken away....trust me...those monsters would still be able to get them. If not a gun..they would use other deadly means. We need to address the mental illness here...the fact that the facilities that use to exist..or the help or services that were out there to help...have been cut drastically by administration cuts! We need to look into recognizing and having facilities that can help these people before they get to this point. Thank you for listening and I pray for your strength and I trust your voice ! -

I have a question, are both of the “Emergency Powers Acts” that were utilized by the Governor for the shutdowns in Michigan still in effect? Has there been any legislation considered for congressional oversight of Executive Orders?17 weeks ago Jaime Greene MI State Representative 65th District 6
Ken Schroeder The Emergency Powers of the Governor Act has been repealed by the Legislature. The Emergency Management Act of 1976 allows the governor to declare a state of emergency for 28 days. Regarding the pandemic the 28 day window expired in spring of 2020. The Court of Claims struck down Governor Whitmer's attempts to extend the state of emergency under the Emergency Management act of 1976 beyond the 28 days. There have been many bills that have attempted to reel in the use of emergency orders, and I believe all of them have failed. We will keep trying.17 weeks ago Gail Schroeder
Can you tell us why you voted against repealing THE RETIREMENT TAX?17 weeks ago Jaime Greene MI State Representative 65th District 2
Gail Schroeder HB 4001 passed in the House on January 26 and has progressed to the Senate for further consideration. SB 1 passed the Senate and now is being considered in the House. While I wholeheartedly support tax relief for all Michigan residents, and especially senior citizens who must make ends meet on fixed incomes, I did not vote in support of this bill because it did not provide equal tax relief for all retirees. I continue to support the House Republican tax relief plan, HB 4008, which provides immediate tax relief to all retirees. It is my hope that we can find common ground on this issue and bring tax relief to all retirees. -

ESG is a term I would like folks in my district to become familiar with. It stands for Economic Social Governance. So far from my perspective it is very dangerous!! I know many of my followers are engaged voters, so here is something I need you to research, be informed of, educated on, and and engage with me on to make sure I am not missing anything. I will drop a few links below to get you started. I would also like to congratulate Governor DeSantis for fighting ESG. (See the WSJ Link) When I start my listening tours coming up this is a topic I will cover. In the mean time study up because I think it is something that will interest you. https://www.wsj.com/...5ztOwcThItUPV4Pm https://esghurts.com https://reason.org/esg/ https://aboutblackrock.com #FreedomFighter65 #jaimegreene #District65 #freedomfighter65 #StClairCounty #lapeercountymi #macombcountymi #stopESG23 weeks ago Mark Blazejewski
Appreciate the information. Any suggestions you have on how we can fight things like this are appreciated. Should there be some sort of petition or do we just write as individuals?23 weeks ago Jaime Greene MI State Representative 65th District
Mark Blazejewski I am working on that. What I believe we can do right away is ask good questions and look locally where investments reside —is your local area subscribing to the “ESG” policies themselves if so ask why? Look at who are the investors in your local community, are they from outside the community, if so what is their vested interest. I am just scratching the surface of this myself that is why I wanted folks in my district to be aware of it and walk though this with me so I can best Represent what they believe.24 weeks ago Ken Schroeder 2

Berry Soetoro getting banks to refuse doing business with firearm manufacturers and dealers (Operation Chokepoint) is a perfect example of ESG! https://www.foxnews....ies-gun-industry24 weeks ago Stacy VanOast 1

Music transcends pretty much everything and brings us to a common ground. Switchfoot has been there for me for the past 24 years. Tonight Jeff and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with their music. I was honored when they played a rarely heard song Concrete Girl. It was an incredible intimate moment. A reminder of where I was, where I am today and all the anthems that have been written in the in between —still that Concrete Girl but fortified by “lifting myself off the ground.” “We are all trying to figure out where we belong. Love is a melody we must play for each other, we all have our scars our mistakes, but we’re all going to be all right. Life is short we better live it well, BECAUSE love alone is worth the fight! I Dare you to Move!” —parsed Switchfoot Medley It has been a long fought year of the campaign trail. I am ready to get to work!! #switchfoot #friendofthefoot #californiachristmasintheD #jaimegreene #District65 #electedofficialsarehuman #imoved24 weeks ago Carol Ann Fodale-Roberts
